Wheelchair accessible sights
People with physical disabilities and people who require a wheelchair, walker or stroller often find themselves facing barriers impossible to overcome when visiting sights. We made an effort to complete a list of accessible sights in the central Jagst valley.
The following sights in the central Jagst valley are handicapped accessible:
Langenburg:
- Church Bächlingen (wide entry at ground level)
- Ark Bridge Unterregenbach
Mulfingen:
- Manor House Buchenbach: The manor house in Buchenbach is of limited accessibility. It has a side entrance at ground level, an elevator as well as a wheelchair accessible washroom. However the exhibition room in the cellar is only accessibly via stairs.
- Ailringen cementary
- Bernard’s chapel Ailringen
- Wheelchair accessible washroom in the community centre in Ailringen
- Lourdes’ grotto in Zaisenhausen (level entrance)
Dörzbach:
- Lutheran Church of Trinity
- The Oilmill can be viewed upon request, wheelchair accessible
- St. Wendel’s chapel can be reached via wheelchair accessible path through the forest
Krautheim:
- Catholic church St. Mary
- Wheelchair accessible washroom in city hall
