Fans of hang-gliding may enjoy the only hang-gliding area of northern Württemberg. The distance in height is 168m which enables you to glide for over an hour.
The cultural highlights in and around Mulfingen are undoubtfully the many products of sacred art. In churches and all along the old paths there are wayside shrines and saints’ portraits witnessing the earlier days’ faithfulness. A special gem is the St. Anna chapel in Mulfingen. Since 1597 the spring of St. Anna has been the destination of thousands of pilgrims. As protocols of healings state, the spring was believed to have strong spiritual powers. And even today, long after the beneficial spring has dried the place still feels very special. Therefore the St. Annas fest on July 26th is one of Mulfingen’s most important holidays. Every year thousands visit the chapel for sermons and prayers. The procession of lights is a deeply impressive and unforgettable experience for all visitors.
